Chris Hemsworth Partners With 100 Thieves To Create 101 Thieves
eSports organisation 100 Thieves has joined forces with actor Chris Hemsworth for a promotional video and upcoming promo campaign. The promo is timed to coincide with the launch of Hemsworth’s next film, Crime 101, and the Marvel alum jokes, “I think you mean 101 Thieves.”
It also sees 100 Thieves further its reach outside eSports – the group, which was formed by professional Call of Duty player Nadeshot in 2016, positions itself as an apparel and lifestyle company, as well as an eSports team.
Crime 101 Launch
Crime 101 launches in a few days (February 13) in cinemas. Alongside Hemsworth, the crime heist movie has a heavy Marvel actor influence, featuring Mark Ruffalo and Halle Berry. The movie also stars Monica Barbaro, Barry Keoghan, and Nick Nolte, amongst others.
In the film, Hemsworth plays Mike Davis, a seasoned jewel thief, who partners with Halle Berry’s insurance broker to pull off a massive diamond heist. Ruffalo is the police detective attempting to bring down Davis before he completes his next job.

What To Expect
To mark the collaboration, Hemsworth and 100 Thieves will be livestreaming from the 100 Thieves Compound on February 10. Viewers can watch the stream on Nadeshot’s Twitch channel.
It’s not exactly clear what Hemsworth’s role will be in the stream – he isn’t exactly known for being a gamer.
There will also be an in-person event at the Compound, with the first 101 fans receiving exclusive apparel and tickets to a preview screening of the movie.
The collaboration has been generally well-received, and 100 Thieves is no stranger to collabs. It has existing partnerships with the likes of Lexus and Oakley. It also has its own apparel range. Primarily, though, 100 Thieves remains an eSports team, and it has recently announced its lineup for the upcoming CS2 and VALORANT Game Changers seasons.
