Ubisoft Announces New Rainbow Six Siege China National League
Ubisoft has announced the inclusion of the Rainbow Six Siege China National League (CNL) as the latest of its regional leagues. The CNL joins the North America League (NAL), South America League (SAL), Europe MENA (EML), and Asia Pacific League (APL).
The initial announcement came via a one-minute announcement trailer, which aired during the recent Six Invitational final, where Ubisoft unveiled its R6S year 11 roadmap. Some details were later confirmed by Jiasheng Liang, Rainbow Six Siege China’s Producer.
The new CNL will include ten teams, offering qualification to the majors and, potentially, the Six Invitational 2027. CNL participating teams will become part of R6 Share, which means they will share the revenue from in-game cosmetics featuring their team logos.
Rainbow Six Siege Regional Leagues
In most regional leagues, 10 teams compete in a round robin stage, playing best-of-1 matches. The top six teams play in a double-elimination bracket with the top four from the league progressing to the Major.
Teams earn Invitational Points throughout their league and Major matches, with the highest ranking teams earning spots in the Six Invitational. The winner of the Major automatically qualifies for the Six.
The APL has a slightly different format, but the CNL is likely to mirror the format above.
This year’s Masters events take place in Salt Lake City, USA, in May, and in Japan in November. R6S also features in this year’s World Cup, with its own $2m prize pool, adding another major event to the calendar.

The Six Invitational
However, the Six Invitational is the pinnacle of the game’s calendar. This year’s final saw 20 teams compete for a $3m prize pool with FaZe eSports taking home the $1m first prize. FaZe also won the 2025 final and will likely be the favourites to take the title again next year.
