Rainbow Six Mobile International Release Next Week – India Getting Early Access

After a four-year wait, Rainbow Six Mobile’s international release is upon us. The game will hit mobile screens globally on February 23. The game has already launched in Latin America, Canada, France, and Poland, and is set to launch early in India on February 19.

The Rainbow Six Mobile International Release Timeline

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile was first announced in April 2022 when Ubisoft dropped a gameplay trailer. The developers, who unveiled a Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 roadmap, said the game was being developed from the ground up. In a blog post at the time of the announcement, Ubisoft said: “While the core gameplay, characters, and maps may share similarities with Siege, we’ve rebuilt everything from the ground up with mobile usability in mind.”

“We have put a lot of work under the hood to adapt the Siege experience for mobile devices. This includes an entirely new gameplay control system developed specifically for mobile and extensive optimization of the UI and in-game visual presentation.”

It saw a beta launch in the same year, although this closed in September 2022. Ubisoft launched the beta version in Canada, Mexico, France, Chile, and Colombia in 2023 and in Latin America in July 2025. The studio said the staggered soft launch enabled them to test systems before a full, international release.

The Rainbow Six Mobile international release pits players against one another in 5v5 Attack vs Defence games. It incorporates destructible environments and a roster of operators to choose from.

Season 1 has already kicked off, despite it being a week before the international launch. As part of the first season, Ubisoft has introduced a new operator – Deimos. It is also bringing limited-time playlists and events, and a battle pass.

Other Rainbow Six Announcements

The Rainbow Six franchise is having a busy year. It has been confirmed for the Esports World Cup 2026, taking place in Riyadh in July and August. Ubisoft also added a China National League to the competitive scene, and the developers unveiled the Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 roadmap.
