Team Vitality Joins Counter-Strike $10m Club With PGL Cluj-Napoca Win

Following victory at the PGL Cluj-Napoca, Team Vitality has continued to assert its dominance on the competitive Counter-Strike scene. The French outfit has become the third to surpass the $10m lifetime earnings milestone. It has now collected taken $10.2m in less than eight years.

Will Team Vitality Overtake Astralis This Year?

Natus Vincere has won the most CS prize money, collecting $12.24m to date. But it took the Ukrainian outfit 16 years to reach that stage. Danish team Astralis is second on the leaderboard, having racked up $10.7m. A figure it has taken around 10 years to achieve.

Considering Vitality’s current level of dominance, it seems highly likely it will overtake Astralis in the coming months. Vita won nearly $4m in prize money in 2025 alone and has already started this year with victories at IEM Krakow and Cluj-Napoca.

Prize money is an important contributor to team wealth, but sponsorships and other major deals pay more. Vita entered a deal with the gambling firm and Kick owner Stake, with the deal reportedly worth millions of dollars. It also has a significant deal with E.Leclerc.

Vitality will be in action in March, when it enters the BLAST Open Rotterdam. It will also be hoping to complete the IEM Grand Slam VI, for the second time, by winning one of the next five IEM major competitions.

ZywOo Continues His Counter-Strike Streak

The Cluj-Napoca victory also saw ZywOo extend his run as the best CS player on the scene, despite being outscored by teammate flameZ in the playoff stages. The French player picked up his 30th career MVP award. The achievement will go some way to helping him pick up the player of the year award again this year. ZywOo already won the accolade in 2019, 2020, 2023, and 2025.
