100 Thieves Valorant Beat NRG At EWC 2026 To Win First International Trophy
US team 100 Thieves beat compatriots NRG 3-1 in the EWC 2026 Valorant grand final. The win overturned a dismal first half of the year, when they failed to qualify for Santiago or London. It also handed 100T, who formed in 2017, their first ever international trophy, along with $600,000 in prize money and 1,000 Club Championship points.
100 Thieves progressed through the group stage 2-0 with victories over Rex Regum Qeon and EDward Gaming. From there, 100T went on to beat MIBR.LOS in the quarterfinals and Nongshim RedForce, the Masters Santiago winners, in the semis. They won both games 2-1.
In the final, 100 Thieves won the first two maps before NRG won Haven and took a 9-3 lead on Ascent. 100 Thieves went on to force overtime, eventually winning 14-12 and lifting the trophy.

First International Trophy
EWC 2026 is 100 Thieves’ first international trophy win, and justifies the heavy roster changes they underwent in 2025. Cryocells only joined the starting roster in November 2025, but was crowned MVP in the World Cup tournament. The team’s run was even more impressive considering it was led by rookie IGL vora.
As well as lifting their first major trophy, the EWC victory landed 100 Thieves with the $600,000 first prize and 1,000 Club Championship points. Although they don’t have enough entries to win the competition, their 1,000 points will help them pick up extra prize money.
About 100 Thieves
100 Thieves launched in 2017, established by Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag with funding from Dan Gilbert. Scooter Braun and Drake were also early investors in the team. Since formation, Nadeshot has stepped down as CEO, and the company has seen ups and downs, but benefited from being named an Esports World Cup Partner Club and enjoying the financial boost that came with that.
In February this year, the company announced a new collaboration with Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth.
100 Thieves Valorant will next play in the VCT Americas: Stage 2 league. They take on G2 Esports, who were knocked out in Paris during the group stages, on July 18.
