BLAST Posts 40% Year-On-Year Increase In Revenue For 2025
Tournament organizer BLAST has posted record revenue in 2025. The Danish company reported revenue of €114.6m, or just over $130m, for discal year 2025. The total is up 40% from 2024 and helped return an annual net profit of €411,000 – the first year it has returned a profit.
Figures point to the company’s continued expansion in the US as being the main revenue driver, although it hasn’t ignored other markets.
BLAST From The Past
The organisation originally launched as RFRSH in 2014, delivering its first live events in 2017. In 2019, it gave up on managing teams including Astralis to concentrate on BLAST events.
Today, it operates popular tournaments across CS2, Dota 2, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Rainbow Six Siege, recently announcing October’s BLAST Slam VIII will be returning to Malta.
Overall, BLAST noted it had achieved more than 2 billion live views with more than 300 million hours of content viewed. Tournaments have been held in 22 cities across the world, including in Asia and Europe.
US Growth
However, 2025’s success can be directly attributed to BLAST’s US efforts. Tournaments have included the BLAST.tv Austin Major as well as tournaments in Forth Worth, Boston, Raleigh, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City.
The Danish company has confirmed that Rocket League will be returning to Fort Worth later this year, and the group has started to expand outside traditional Esports.
BLAST also opened its new US headquarters, in Brooklyn, New York, this year.
CEO, Robbie Douek, said: “Competitive entertainment has become one of the fastest-growing sectors in global media because it combines community, technology and live experiences in entirely new ways.
“The next generation of fans want entertainment that feels participatory, social and global by default. That shift is creating enormous opportunities for brands, publishers, creators and host cities, and we believe BLAST is uniquely positioned to help lead that evolution after a landmark year in 2025.”
